Terms of Service — SmartInboxCleanup

Last updated: July 2026

1) Who I Am

SmartInboxCleanup is a service by buildwithjuliet. I build AI agents that automate administrative work.

If you have questions, contact me at: [email protected]

2) What This Service Does

SmartInboxCleanup connects to your Gmail account, with your permission, and sorts your inbox based on the "keep" and "trash" preferences you submit. Emails matching your keep preferences are archived. Emails matching your trash preferences, or judged as clutter based on your instructions, are moved to trash.

3) Not Permanent, By Design

Nothing is permanently deleted immediately. Emails moved to trash sit in Gmail's Trash for 30 days before Gmail itself removes them, giving you a full month to recover anything moved by mistake. Archived emails are never deleted at all, they're simply removed from your inbox view and remain fully searchable.

4) Your Responsibility

The accuracy of your cleanup depends most on your keep preferences, since these are what protect specific emails from being cleared. I ask that you review your keep words carefully before authorizing access, as anything not covered by them may be moved to trash. I am not responsible for outcomes resulting from incomplete or unclear preferences submitted by you.

5) Payment

Payment for SmartInboxCleanup is processed through Selar. Once payment is confirmed, I begin the process of setting up your access. Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and should be sent to [email protected]. Given emails are recoverable from Trash for 30 days as described above, refunds are not automatically issued solely on the basis of a miscategorized email.

6) Processing Time

Processing time varies depending on the size of your inbox and real-time conditions with Google's and Anthropic's systems, and is not guaranteed to complete within a fixed timeframe. Most inboxes complete in minutes. You will receive a confirmation email once your cleanup is complete.

7) Access and Authorization

You authorize SmartInboxCleanup to access your Gmail account through Google's own consent process. You may revoke this access at any time through:
Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Find SmartInboxCleanup → Remove access

Revoking access while a cleanup is in progress may result in that cleanup being incomplete.

8) Limitation of Liability

SmartInboxCleanup is provided as-is. While I take care to build and test this service carefully, I cannot guarantee it will be error-free at all times. To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any issue arising from use of this service is limited to the amount you paid for the service. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business, data, or opportunity, arising from use of SmartInboxCleanup.

9) Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SmartInboxCleanup after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
